Poll: 5 Best Broadway Shows from a Movie?

Seven shows currently on Broadway were preceded by a movie with the same name: They are either direct adaptations of the movies (Aladdin, Back to the Future), or inspired by them (Harry Potter, Moulin Rouge), or at least the movie and the stage show share the same source material, such as a book. (The Notebook, The Outsiders, Water for Elephants.) At least three more are scheduled to open on Broadway this season. It’s as good a time as any for a poll: Which are the five best Broadway shows adapted from, or inspired by, a movie? Choose the five from the 30 below, listed alphabetically, and then rank those five, by moving each of the five you selected into the order that you prefer — the first one at the very top — and then press “submit.” (And if your favorite is not on the list, add it in the comments section below.)
