Broadway in Bryant Park 2024 Free Summer Concert Schedule

Broadway in Bryant Park has announced the lineup for this summer’s four free Thursday lunchtime concerts, performed by the casts from current Broadway shows, which will begin on July 11. Seven of the eighteen scheduled shows opened this past season, including Tony winner “The Outsiders”; an eighth is opening in the Fall.

Along with this year’s schedule, I offer some nostalgia: Still shots from the series, which began 24 years ago, and videos of previous Broadway in Bryant Park performances from some of the same shows that are scheduled to perform again this year: Aladdin, Chicago, Frozen, The Lion King, Moulin Rouge, Six and Wicked. I add the most popular video — the prologue from “Natasha, Pierre and the Comet of 1812,” from 2013.

The Bryant Park stage is located at Sixth Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets. Lawn seating is first come, first serve. The concerts, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, are sponsored by 106.7 LITE FM. The schedule is subject to change. It gets really hot; bring a hat.
