* I’ve applied a liberal definition of “released.” I include the title if any format was first put on sale in 2023, even if other formats were on sale previously or won’t be on sale until later. To pick the most extreme example: “Six The Musical” opened on Broadway in 2021; the Broadway recording was released in digital formats on May 6, 2022, but as a CD not until June 23, 2023, so I include it. Merrily We Roll Along was released on digital formats on November 15, 2023, but won’t be on sale as a CD until January 15, 2024. Again, here it is.
