The 5 Best Musical Theater Album Grammy Nominations 2024

Five albums have been nominated for the best musical theater album, all of them of current or recent Broadway shows (like last year, but unlike the year before.). The 66th annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 4 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The rules: For albums containing greater 51% playing time of new recordings. Award to the principal vocalist(s), and the album producer(s) of 50% or more playing time of the album. The lyricist(s) and composer(s) of 50 % or more of a score of a new recording are eligible for an Award if any previous recording of said score has not been nominated in this category.
