Watch #TheInvestigation, The Mueller Report Adapted by Robert Schenkkan

A starry cast of 18, including Annette Bening and Zachary Quinto, performed “The Investigation: A Search for the Truth in Ten Acts”, a 77-minute adaptation of the Mueller Report by Pulitzer-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan (The Kentucky Cycle, All The Way.)  Directed by Scott Ellis, a staged reading of the play was presented live at Riverside Church, and simultaneously live-streamed, thanks to Law Works. Below is the video of the presentation.

In a 90-second prologue, 10 performers go briefly one by one over the ten counts of obstruction of justice by President Trump laid out in the Mueller Report. (e.g. Alfre Woodard: President Trump said he fired FBI Director Comey because of the Russian investigation.”)  “Robert Mueller did his job,” Annette Bening says. “The question is: Will we do ours?”

John Lithgow, just finished portraying Bill Clinton on Broadway, does a mean Trump in The Investigation.
