Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen pose with Elmo in Times Square, while in New York to perform in Beckett’s Waiting for Godot and Pinter’s No Man’s Land. They also posed in front of such NYC landmarks as a pile of big black plastic garbage bags curbside. Not the weirdest theater event of the decade.
