Big Fish with Norbert Leo Butz and Kate Baldwin, preview at Broadway in Bryant Park

BigFishwithKateBaldwinandNorbertLeoButzAt the Broadway in Bryant Park concert, the rain took a breather to listen to two songs from a musical that is coming to Broadway in the Fall.
Norbert Leo Butz sings Fight the Dragons in Big Fish, the stage musical adapted from the 2003 film (and the 1998 novel) about a traveling salesman who tells extraordinary tales. His son, once grown, is determined to discover whether they’re real.

Time Stops, a duet between Butz and Baldwin, is a very beautiful melody.

Big Fish, with music and lyrics by Grammy and Tony Award nominee Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family), and a book by Grammy nominee John August (Frankenweenie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), is scheduled to open at Broadway’s Neil Simon Theater on October 6, 2013.

Besides Norbert Leo Butz and Kate Baldwin, the cast includes Bobby Steggert, and the following:
