Broadway in Bryant Park: Avenue Q

For the seventh year on the lawn at Bryant Park, the most popular as well as the newest shows on Broadway, and several Off-Broadway, will offer a series of six free weekly concerts over the summer, every Thursday at 12:30 starting on July 12th. This year features an early glimpse into four new Broadway shows set to open within the next few months: Bring It On The Musical, Chaplin The Musical, A Christmas Story, and Rebecca.

The concerts are always an hour long, from 12:30 to 1:30, and the performers (especially from the Broadway productions) are frequently the understudies. But it is a nice, free glimpse into some of the most entertaining shows on New York stages.
