Below are the various discounts offered by the shows that have opened or are about to open (or reopen) on Broadway in Spring 2022, listed alphabetically. These are the official ways to get tickets for as low as $29, when the average ticket price on Broadway is $125 this week. (For individual shows, the average ticket price can be more than $200.) Productions offer a choice of some or all (or none) of the following kinds of discounts: digital lottery, mobile rush (usually through the TodayTix app), general rush (meaning showing up when the box office opens on the day of the performance), student rush (showing up and being a student), and standing room. The four theater organizations with Broadway houses also offer discount programs for theatergoers of a particular age range.

Also, check out TDF TKTS half-price ticket booths, where the discounts aren’t as steep, but you’re more assured of getting them.

A Strange Loop

Rush tickets $47
First come, first served basis. Tickets may be purchased in-person at the Lyceum Theater box office when it opens (10am Monday – Saturday, 12pm Sunday) for that day’s performance(s) only. Tickets are limited to two per person and some rush seats may be partial view. Rush locations are subject to availability.

Audiences can also sign up to be a part of the digital lottery at strangeloopmusical.com/lotteryandrush/, which will be drawn 1 day prior to each performance. Winners will be able to purchase tickets for $39 (+ $4 service charge).

Beetlejuice

$43 general rush tickets will be available at the Winter Garden Theatre Box Office (1634 Broadway) when it opens for that day’s performance(s). Limited to two tickets per person, tickets are subject to availability. Cash and major credit cards are accepted.

Funny Girl

Digital Lottery $47.50

On Lucky Seat, a limited number of tickets will be available for every performance of FUNNY GIRL for $47.50 per ticket. Digital lotteries will begin each Monday at 10AM ET and close the day prior to the performance at 10:30 AM ET. Hangmen

Digital Lottery $41
 Patrons may enter the Hangmen lottery from 12am to 3pm one day before the performance. Winners drawn at 9am and 3pm may purchase up to two $37 tickets, plus a $4 service charge per ticket. Seats may be in any section of the theatre. While every effort will be made to seat pairs together with a full view, there is a chance that pairs may be split up and that your seat may have a partial view of the stage.
