2019 Oscar Winners: Green Book, director Alfonso Cuaron, Rami Malek, Olivia Colman

Green Book won best picture, Rami Malek of “Bohemian Rhapsody” lead actor and Olivia Colman of “The Favourite” lead actress at the 91st annual Academy Awards. Ruth E. Carter and Hannah Beachler of “Black Panther” became the first African Americans to win for costume design and production design, while Peter Ramsey became the first black winner for best animated feature for “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” All eight best picture nominees won an Oscar in at least one category —  Fr “Bohemian Rhapsody,” about rock star Freddie Mercury, won four; three went to Roma including best director and best foreign film, and three to Black Panther.
