The Booth brothers, the Redgrave siblings, the Astaire brother and sister act – siblings on Broadway are not unusual, but they seem to be especially plentiful this season.
Jake Lucas, 12, plays Kelli O’Hara’s son in The King and I. His sister Sydney Lucas, 11, portrays Small Alison in Fun Home, and has been nominated for a Tony Award for her performance. (Here’s a story about them in the Hollywood Reporter)
Other siblings:
Adam Jacobs (Aladdin) and Arielle Jacobs (Wicked).
Jake Gyllenhaal (Constellations) and Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Real Thing).
Robert Fairchild (An American in Paris) and Megan Fairchild (On the Town), both of whom are making their acting debuts (they are trained as dancers), and both of whom have received Tony nominations this year for their performances.
Michael Cerveris (Tony-nominated for his performance in Fun Home) and Marisa Cerveris (The Phantom of the Opera). Their brother Todd Cerveris has also performed on Broadway.
Jessie Mueller(Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and Abby Mueller (Kinky Boots).
