Blizzard on Broadway Saturday Morning

Here is a picture of Father Duffy Square in Times Square at 6 a.m., February 9, 2013. Manhattan clearly was not the hardest-hit by Winter Storm Nemo (as the Weather Channel insists on calling it.) The photograph was taken by the Times Square Earth Cam.

As of now, Broadway shows are going on as planned. How many people will actually attend them is a different question.

Some theaters are offering snow deals: Both Picnic and the Mystery of Edwin Drood will cost only $20 if you show a Metro card at the box office. The Classic Stage Company’s revival of Sondheim and Lapine’s “Passion” is offering last-minute tickets for $35.

Update: Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark is offering two tickets for the price of one through Sunday night. Use Code: WEATHER
