Every New Yorker who is registered with a political party will be able to vote for the state comptroller, state Senate members and state Assembly members.
Certain voters will be able to vote for candidates running for the U.S. House of Representatives. (See below.)
Only voters residing in New York City Council District 3 (downtown Manhattan) will be able to vote in a New York City Council race.

State Comptroller
Incumbent Tom DiNapoli, who assumed the office in 2007, is being challenged by former Kansas legislator Raj Goyle and a former affordable housing nonprofit executive Drew Warshaw
New York City Council District 3
District 3 is located on the West Side of Manhattan and includes such neighborhoods as Greenwich Village, Hudson Square, Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen. and parts of Times Square. The City Council race is the only one that involves ranked choice voting: The candidates for that office are: Lindsey Boylan, Layla Law-Gisikom Leslie Boghosian Murphy, and Carl Wilson, who won a special election in April to replace Erik Bottcher, who resigned the office just three months after being reelected to become a State Senator.

Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, NYS Assemblymember Claire Valdez, NYC Councilmember Julie Won and public defender Vichal Kumar are running to replace Rep. Nydia Velázquez, who is retiring.

covering all of Lower Manhattan south of 14th Street and a wide swath of western and southern Brooklyn.
Former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander is challenging incumbent Rep. Dan Goldman.

covering Manhattan from 14th Street to 125th Street
Eight candidates are vying to replace Rep. Jerry Nadler, who is retiring: Assemblymember Alex Bores, Assemblymember Micah Lasher, Jack Schlossberg, George Conway, Laura Dunn, Chris Diep, Nina Schwalbe and Patrick Timmins.
