
“The Balusters” was chosen as the outstanding Broadway play and “Schmigadoon!” was awarded outstanding Broadway musical and four other awards at the 76th annual Outer Critics Circle Awards. “Mexodus” won outstanding new Off-Broadway musical and “Meet the Caresians” outstanding Off-Broadway play. There was a tie for :the John Gasner new American play award: Ro Reddick’s Cold War Choir Practice and Bubba Weiler’s Well, I’ll Let You Go. “Ragtime” and “Death of a Salesman” swept for revivals.
