












Whatever other superlatives you can apply to Stephen Sondheim – that he was the most significant, the most ambitious, the most revered of Broadway theater composer-lyricists for more than half a century – he also seems to be the subject of more trivia quizzes than anybody else in the theater, with the possible exception of William Shakespeare.
In tribute to Sondheim, who died the day after Thanksgiving at the age of 91, here’s another one.
