Goodbye Avenue Q!

We first said goodbye to Avenue Q in 2009 when the surprise Tony-winning hit musical announced it was about to close on Broadway after six years. But it got an immediate reprieve, moving to Off-Broadway, where it has run for nearly ten more years.

But tonight it closed once again, time to wax nostalgic.

So here is Growing Up on Avenue Q , about the musical’s creators Bobby Lopez and Jeff Marx, whom I first interviewed in 2003 (!)
