Top 10 Lists of Top 10 Theater 2015

“Hamilton” made the top or near the top of every critics’ top 10 theater list so far for shows that opened in New York in 2015, with the exception of Charles Isherwood, who deliberately left Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical off his list, writing “that fine show has been hosanna-ed so thoroughly that it hardly needs more recognition, at least until the inevitable Pulitzer and Tony Awards add to its luster.” Other popular choices: The King and I, Fun Home, A View from the Bridge,  King Charles III, Hir.

Here are drama critics’ lists of Top 10 theater for 2015. (Some deviate from a literal Top 10 list.) I will add more of these top 10 lists as they become available.
