Alma Cuervo is and always has been an amazing major talent. As a teenager I was privileged to perform with her and other talented Tampa students in Carlyn Lindley’s original stage production, “The Happening,” at the Academy of the Holy Names, and also as a co-member of the “November Chrysanthemum,” an early folk-rock band. (May Manuel Cruz, the band’s leader, RIP.) If Alma reads this I hope she will make contact. (My surname was different back then.)
Alma was someone I always admired. I was a freshman at Ahn when she was a senior and stared in the happening. I so wish my mom had not disposed of my records. I want to hear it again.
