Actress Lauren Bacall has died at age 89. Best known as a sultry siren of the silver screen, having made more than 40 films, Bacall was also a six-time Broadway veteran, winning Tony Awards both for “Applause” and “Woman of the Year.”
Betty Perske’s first magazine cover was on Harper’s Bazaar in 1943 – a fashion model who became a film star.
