
Branden Jacobs-Jenkins won the best new American play Obie for both “Appropriate” and “An Octoroon”, and Sydney Lucas became the youngest recipient ever of a performance award for her role in “Fun Home” the musical at the Public Theater that was recognized several times during the 59th Annual Obie Awards last night. Estelle Parsons was given a lifetime achievement award.
