The much-lauded Bedlam theater company employs just four actors playing all the roles (more than 50), offering “an experience so intense and concentrated,” the Wall Street Journal said, “that you’ll feel as though you were part of the action.”
The two classic plays are performing in repertory through February 2, 2014 at the Lynn Redgrave Theater on Bleecker Street.

My most memorable theater moment during the holidays was seeing a christmas story last year. It was an amazing family-oriented musical that I saw with my family and it made us get into the christmas spirit! @kyledmorales
One of my most memorable experience would be when a group of us saw two holiday shows in one day, I believe it was 2010. We went to the 5 pm Christmas show at Radio City, stopped for some holiday cheer and then we headed down to the Hirschfeld where we saw Elf the musical. We all sung Buddy the Elf all the way home! Great times!
My most memorable holiday experience has to be the time I performed in a show during a snowstorm and we performed for 3 people in the audience. 1 person left at intermission!
Watching my first Broadway show, The Lion King, the day before Thanksgiving. Those first 10 minutes are still some of the most incredible in a theatre ever.
My most memorable Christmas moment in the theater would have to be the year I was performing in A very innovative production of a Christmas Carol. Done in collaboration with a deaf theater group, we used sign language to represent the language of the heart, A language Scrooge had forgotten. The best image in the show was of Marley’s ghost. Two actors one playing Marley’s disembodied head voicing the lines and his headless body performing the sign language. Magic!
When I played one of Santa’s elves in a children’s show. We started with inviting the children to a workshop, where they could help us make toys. So many little kids telling me that Santa didn’t exist and I wasn’t a real elf.. still stayed in role though!

this jaded New Yorker’s eyes!
I saw The Christmas Spectacular last week, so that has to be my favorite so far. (This is my first holiday season living in the City!) Looking forward to A Christmas Story next week!

Being an avid “plays only” theater goer- I was magically inspired and changed by seeing a middle school production of “The Nutcracker”. Such spunk, electricity, and pure story telling within the dancers. INSPIRING!
