EMMY WINNERS 2013

EmmyAwardsBreaking Bad, with just one episode left, won outstanding drama series for the first time, although many were surprised that neither of its leads, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, won in their nominated categories.   Modern Family won outstanding comedy series for the fourth consecutive year.

Below are the full list of winners. Is there any point to noticing that the loser is network television, which won in only seven of the 26 categories? While cable TV dominated, Netflix, the online streaming service that has ventured into original programming, won one of the five categories in which it was nominated.
