Watch Bernadette Peters Sing to a Pooch in Broadway Barks 2015.

Bernadette Peters and Andrew Rannells play host to Broadway Barks 17 on July 11, 2015, with dozens of Broadway stars helping local animal rescue and adoption agencies find permanent homes for their dogs (and a few cats.)

At the end of the video below, Peter sings to a pooch provided by animal trainer Bill Berloni. The song is from Dames at Sea, the musical in which she appeared in 1966, which will be given its first Broadway production this fall.
