Win a speaker from Lin-Manuel Miranda (In The Heights, Hamilton), Christopher Jackson (The Lion King, In The Heights, Holla If Ya Hear Me) and the rest of the cast of Freestyle Love Supreme, a new television series by the popular hip-hop improvisational comedy troupe of the same name. The show will air Fridays starting October 17th at 10:30 p.m. ET / PT, on a 15-month-old cable television channel called Pivot TV.
Their motto: Give us a word, give us a beat, get out of our way. They take audience suggestions and run (or rap) with them. (See video below.) Freestyle Love Supreme began about a decade ago when Miranda and his co-founders were still undergraduates at Wesleyan University. They’ve traveled to comedy festivals around the world, performed at theaters such as LCT3 at Lincoln Center and Joe’s Pub at the Public, and now they’re coming to your home theater, with ten 30-minute episodes on Pivot.
Here’s what the speaker looks like:
It’s a small, easy-to-use speaker that connects to your phone or computer via bluetooth to play your music. It has a retail value of about $100.

I would love to hear Freestyle Rap Supreme rap about what they would do if they became president. Can you imagine what they would do with all that power? -@misskrystal0
I think Lin-Manuel Miranda should have his own comedy variety show, similar to the old Carol Burnett show. He has a limitless pool of talent to choose from in New York and he can expose the rest of the country to some of these amazing people. He has such an easy going, fun-loving style that he would be a perfect choice to lead this kind of show. I’m certain that his new show will prove that. @mikenoland100
I would love to see Kristin Chenoweth have a combination talkshow/variety show where she brings on other Broadway actors to interview them in the style of “Between Two Ferns,” then does zany acts and skits (a la “The Gong Show” and “SNL”). I think it’d be a hoot, and she’s the perfect girl to do it!

I would love to see Audra McDonald host her own TV show, possibly like a variety show or a clip show like on PBS or the old tv channels, where she sings and does scenes from old musicals and then does interviews regarding them and plays a few filmed selections. It would be classy and elegant and nostalgic and amazing!

I’d love to see Side By Side By Susan Blackwell become a full blown TV show OR a variety show starring SB and Laura Benanti OR a show of those two watching the Tonys in their PJs. @silentmacaroni
In reaction to this week’s John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight segment on dogs as the Supreme Court, I would love to hear a rap about Supreme Court proceedings. It would certainly make them less dry, plus the rhymes Lin-Manuel Miranda would come up with for “certiorari” would be epic. @ mduaime
