Souldoctor5SoulDoctorShlomoandNinaSimoneThe cast of “Soul Doctor,” the musical opening on Broadway August 15 based on the real-life friendship between jazz singer Nina Simone (portrayed by Amber Iman) and the “Rock Star Rabbi” Shlomo Carlebach (Eric Anderson), gave a little preview in Bryant Park, as part of the free weekly summer lunchtime series Broadway in Bryant Park.
